Ainsley: {Casa Grande March of Dimes Photographer}

Sweet little Ainsley came back today for some new pictures. She is getting so big, 12 lbs. 12 oz. to be exact! ;) She is going to be the Casa Grande March of Dimes baby next month and I was blessed enough to take her pictures for it. She is such an angel and was so much fun! Congratulations Ainsley, we are all very proud of you!

This family braved the hot, hot afternoon with 46% humidity for this shoot. Luckily for the kiddos, there were water fountains to play in afterwards. :) Thanks Proudfoot family, it was a joy!

Photo Challenge | White

I have followed I Heart Faces for a long time and decided it was time to actually join a challenge. Today's challenge is white. I love my brides and white is never the easiest color to capture. When I did a session with my cousin and his gorgeous bride, Holly, I was so excited to get a close up of her surrounded in her beautiful dress!

The details in the dress were gorgeous, so I had to make sure and expose on the white of the dress. I wanted the ruffles to fall all around her, so I placed her on a staircase and the rest was magic. She is gorgeous, and the dress is gorgeous, so it made for one of my favorite pictures ever!

Bubby's SUPERHERO party!

I can't believe my BABY is THREE! He had such a blast at his SUPER-HERO party! His little neighbor friends came over and made SUPER-cool capes, played lots of good guy/bad guy games and had yummy treats. It was a day full of fun and craziness!!! LOVE you my little man!!!

My little SUPERhero!!!

It is so bittersweet for me that my little man is turning 3 this week! He is our last baby and has been the best baby ever!! I am just not ready for him to grow up and be a "BIG BOY" yet! 3 means he is a toddler and no longer in the baby stage. He is SO happy to be a big boy! He loves cars, and the WII and dancing with his big sissies! He is the JOY of our lives and I had so much fun with this shoot tonight. I have had it in my mind for a long time, and after a few bribes, I dragged everyone out in the heat! Thanks family for putting up with me!!!

This last one is my absolute FAVORITE!!! One of my favorite artists, Liz Lemon Swindle has this as a painting of a little boy and his dad. I was going to buy it for Father's Day this year, but decided to wait and take a picture of it instead. SOOO glad I did!!!

DownEast Basics Blogger Night

I have had the pleasure of getting to know a few of the local bloggers recently and I was invited to go with them to one of my favorite stores.....DownEast Basics for a Blogger's Night Out. We went to the Superstition Springs location and all the Sales Associates were more than gracious! It's such a cute store and I love all the little details. There were about 30+ bloggers all shopping to spread the word about a great store. We were all treated to a $25 gift certificate (perks to blogging...woo hoo!) and the lines to the dressing rooms were practically out the door!

DownEast Basics is a great store for "modest" clothing for both women and girls. I LOVE their girls line and in fact, will be showcasing what I bought for my girls next week after we have our "photoshoot".....so STAY TUNED!! ;)

They have the CUTEST girl's line and accessories! Can't wait to have my girls model the dresses!

Giving my camera to other people always makes me crazy, but at least there is a group picture!

A few of us went to the YUMMY Cheesecake Factory afterwards for some treats! It was a great night!

Aubri Sneak Peek: {Gilbert Family Photographer}

This beautiful girl is a fighter! I had the enormous pleasure of meeting her a couple months ago and she is an inspiration. She is on the last 3 months of her chemotherapy

and ALWAYS has a huge smile on her face. I am so blessed that she called me to do this shoot with her and her mama! They have the cutest personality and I loved watching them together, we literally laughed the WHOLE shoot! I only pray my relationship is that close when my girls are grown!

Thanks Aubri for the inspiration, you are AMAZING!

Herbert Family: {Las Vegas Family Photographer}

When I was in Las Vegas for a photography workshop, my best friend in the whole world happened to be there with her family. What does this mean??? Family picture time! I dragged them out in the rain to dowtown Vegas and we (at least I...hee hee) had so much fun! The kids were so great to put up with me and I absolutely LOVE these pictures! I'm so happy to finally have my "bestey" in my portfolio!! Now, we just need to make a habit out of this! Thanks Heather, I love you!
