This is the beautiful Serra Family. I had the pleasure of meeting them through our daughter's dance studio. I recently shot pictures of just the boys and this time we had fun with the whole family! They were a riot!

Meet the beautiful Miller Family. I met them through

The F.I.L.M. Project

and they are an AMAZING family.

Margie Miller, aka mama, was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in 2010 and when it spread to her spine, she was told there was little they could do. She is still very hopeful

and full of faith. Her husband is a pastor at their church and the spirit of the Lord literally radiates off of this family.

When we had our family session, ABC 15 news was there to capture the moment and put together a piece about

The F.I.L.M. Project.

Margie talked about her faith and how that has gotten them through these rough times. Her faith is inspiring and her courage amazing!

It was truly an honor and a blessing to meet and work with this beautiful family and I am blessed to call them FRIEND!

Pena Sneak Peek: {Mesa Family Photographer}

This beautiful family is the Pena family. I had the blessing

of meeting them at London's Run in January, where I also

met their angel Breanna. Breanna lost her battle to Leukemia shortly after London's Run and she was an

amazing girl. I wish I had been able to get to know her, but just being around her you could feel her spirit.

Getting to know her family a bit more now, I see why Breanna was such a light. Rick and Richelle are amazing, their strength inspires and it was my priviledge to take their pictures at Breanna's favorite place, the Mesa temple.
I am so grateful for the Gospel that gives us the testimony that we will not only be with our family again, but will be with them forever!

President Thomas S. Monson said
"Each of our temples is an expression of our testimony that life beyond the grave is as real and as certain as is our life here on earth. I so testify."

She was definitely with us that day and the laughter and smiles were proof!

I LOVE this family!

They have been getting family pictures with me for the past 4 years now and it's so awesome to watch them grow into the young adults they are becoming.

The kids have gotten used to me, and I think I can finally make them laugh. I think they just finally figured out what a dork I am! ;) hee hee

This gorgeous girl is my High School Senior 2012 Rep! We had so much fun during her shoot, and she even brought along her very own "prop"...her boyfriend!
